-Over the years, especially after the success of the studio's first console title, Fable , back in 2004, Molyneux has become a fan-favorite figurehead for the gaming industry - similar to the "celebrity" of similar designers like Cliff Bleszinski, Hideo Kojima, or Gabe NewellAs a result, there's little doubt that fans of the Lionhead brand will see the departure as a potential death-blow to the studio - despite Molyneux's co-founderMark Webley, sticking around to run the stu+Set soon after the events of Fable The Journey puts players in control of a new hero who has just come upon Theresa; the blind fortuneteller featured prominently in the Fable seriesTasked with bringing Theresa to the Spireour hero will have to venture through an Albion that will feel somewhat famil

-Overall, the PC version does deliver some aesthetically pleasing differences from the Xbox 360 - most notably the graphics improvementsbut it's still the same game. Even though it looks prettier, the same flaws remain. If you have a great PC, and you haven't already purchased Fable 3 pick it up. The RPG elements may be minimal, and simplistic, but the game still manages to be an engrossing experience because of all the things you can do in (and to) the wo+F able 3 released to mostly positive reviews for the Xbox 360, though some were dissatisfied with the simpler upgrade system, the smaller game world, and the diluted enemy diversityNow Fable 3 is finally heading to Windows PC, the delay between versions was supposedly due to the fact that Lionhead built a PC version that goes beyond a simple port. -There was one new IP shown that got our attention as gamers for a brief momentCodename: KINGDOMS , with no game-play or true promotion. This was quickly watered down for those of us at home who saw those covering the event immediately drawing comparisons between this and the God of War franchiseEventually they revealed the Xbox 360 S (a.k.a. Slim) which did little to entice owners of functioning Xbox 360s. Another thing that worked against MS was the decision to demo Call of Duty: Black Ops , a multi-platform game for longer period of time than most of their other showcases. Yes, there was talk of some timed exclusivity for the DLC (wouldn't be MS without some) but this too was little to parade over since this deal has already been standard with bestseller Modern Warfare 2 . All things considered, the Microsoft Press Conference was almost hard to watch. I had thought ahead of time that MS could show many strong new IPs and win E3 2010, but boy was I wr+Leading up to E3 2012many of the big game announcements were unveiled early, from Star Wars 1313 to Gears of War: Judgment Still, there were few pleasant surprises during the five major press conferences -- Watch Dogs and Beyond: Two Souls to name just two -- in year that focused heavily on software as the current console generation approaches the end of its life cy

-E3 has always been **THE ** industry event prime for showcasing new hardware, services and of course games. Microsoft is not new to the showcase, remaining strong contenders since the announcement of the original Halo on Xbox in 2001From the tech demo of Halo 2 in 2003 to the appearance of the first HD Gaming console in 2005. Howeverit is practically universally agreed that the Microsoft conference at E3 2010 had very little appeal to the fan base that the Xbox has worked so hard to amass. Alienation to some and sacrilege to others, the star of the show was Kinect; a motion control dev+Welcome to the first day of Game Rant's E3 2010 coverageThe first big event of the show, Microsoft's press conference, is scheduled to begin at 10:30 AM Pacific Time. No doubt there will be a ton of information on the newly named Kinect . But what else? Will we see the rumored Xbox 360 Slim ? Any new news on Halo: Reach or Gears of War 3 ? And what surprises are in st

-PC users are also given all the add-ons included with the Limited Collector's Edition of the console title - which amounts to new area, a quest with a new swordoutfitand the boxer dog breedFor those that have pre-purchased from Steamthere will be 5 exclusive tattoo sets as well as 4 legendary weapons made available to your H+The comment is an odd one as thus far, Fable Legends looks like it has a very direct approach to online play allowing you to set up games with friends, while both Journey and Dark Souls had more passive systems that limited interaction with other players. They were powerful multiplayer experiences though, and if Fable Legends can figure out a way to incorporate some of their elements into the game, it could be great compliment the co-op heavy gamep

It was the console to beat all others. Nintendo announced its new system two years before its unveiling. It was named, "Revolution" and had everybody buzzing. We now know it as the Wii-- a less than threatening name that is more suited to Nintendo's goals. "Revolution" served as a wonderful project title filled with mystery and excitement. However, according to Reggie Fils-Aime, it would not translate well under many other languages. Plus, a name like that would have probably caused an uproar from Americans stating the Japanese are out to get them again. That didn't happen...at least to my knowledge. Wii is friendlier and less menacing. Nintendo was right about the Wii's original namesake, it did cause quite the revolution in the video game industry because of its highly advanced motion sensor system. It was the console to beat all others.
